On May 28, a conference «New Challenges of Modern Transport Logistics in Ukraine» was held within the framework of the XVIII International Trade and Transport Week in Odessa. Main representatives in the transport market gathered to step up cooperation, share experiences and find answers to the exciting issues of freight forwarding.
The topics for discussion were more than enough: they discussed the tendencies of national legislation development, adopted the experience of the international business community: ports and railway companies of Germany, Poland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and, of course, did not forget of the issues of digitization in the transport sphere.
«Art Port» was invited to present a report about «Information technology for effective supply chain management».
With considerable experience in the automation of the transport business, Sergey Artemenko, director of the group of companies «Art Soft» , highlighted aspects of IT implementation in key links of the supply chain. The report was based on the consideration of 2 cases: automation of the railway terminal and automation of railway logistics and expedition on the example of software products «Art Port».
The «icing on the cake» was the presentation about the unique development of the company «Art Port» — the mobile application «ART: RWL», which is a mobile client of the system «Client UZ», which allows to download, view, sign railway invoices from the smartphone.
Thanks to the excellent venue, quality work and comfortable atmosphere created by the organizers of the conference, this meeting became another step for the development of national private transport business.
