The specialists of LLC «Art Soft» successfully automated accounting and tax accounting in our company by implementing a popular software solution «Accounting 8 for Ukraine», which allows us to significantly speed up the formation of regulated reporting, minimize the number of errors, and ensure that reporting complies with the requirements of the current regulatory legislation of Ukraine.

The company «Sea Gate LTD» operates in the market of freight forwarding services for the carriage of goods in containers since 2007. We provide a wide range of services, such as sea freight for the required number of containers, freight forwarding at ports of destination, land transportation of goods in containers.

To solve the problems of automation of accounting for forwarding activities, we purchased an industry-specific software solution «Art:Forwarding». The choice is due to the fact that the functionality of the program most fully meets the needs of our company. The program was developed taking into account industry-specific and regulatory requirements for forwarding activities in Ukraine.

To perform contract work on the implementation of an automated system, we turned to the company LLC «Art Soft», which has established itself as a reliable and professional partner.
«Art Soft» specialists installed the system on users’ computers, completed the initial parameter settings, helped to fill out reference books and make initial balances, and conducted user training.

As a result, the following accounting modules were implemented:

  • Reflection in the system of forwarding operations using specialized documents:
    • Freight forwarding order;
    • Closing work with cargo;
    • Container;
    • Receipt of services (forwarding);
    • The act of the performed work  on forwarding;
    • Incoming invoice (forwarding);

  • Accounting for transit payments;
  • Calculation of the results of forwarding activities:
    • Calculation of forwarding reward;
    • Calculation of the cost of cargo;
    • The impact of costs on the calculation of income tax;
    • The impact of costs on VAT;
    • Other calculations;
  • Formation of management, analytical and statistical reporting with the desired levels of detail and grouping data;
  • Correct display of information on freight forwarding activities in the accounting and tax accounting programs «Accounting 8 for Ukraine»

As a result of the implementation, daily operations performed at the forwarder’s workplace are automated. The program provides effective management of transit payments in forwarding activities, automated complex special calculations, and the rapid formation of specialized reports.

The implementation period is 1 month.

The start date of the commercial operation of the software is 03.06.2014.
